For example, when using the helper bar welding, the gap should be 2.5mm; when lap welding, it is necessary to ensure that the axes of the two steel bars are in the same straight line, and the lap welding must not be staggered, and the helper bar and the main bar are fixed with four-point positioning welding, and two-point fixing during lap welding. The positioning weld must be more than 20mm away from the helper bar or the lap end.
During welding, the arc should be started at one end of the auxiliary bar or the overlapping steel bar, the arc should be closed at the end, and the arc pit should be filled. When welding multiple layers, each layer of weld must have sufficient penetration, the main weld and the positioning weld must be well fused, and there are clear standards for the length, height and width of the weld, such as the weld length should not be less than the auxiliary bar or the overlapping length.
When using the steel cage rolling welding machine, the technical requirements for safety should not be ignored. During operation, idle personnel are not allowed to enter the production area, and the operator must wear protective clothing and hats. Once an abnormal situation occurs, the machine should be shut down immediately, and the maintenance personnel should be notified to check and continue to operate after confirmation.
